The amorphous finds unearthed during the excavations began to be exhibited simply in glass showcases. Additionally, photographs of Harput and the castle were hung on the walls and presented to the public.

As the Harput İçkale Excavation Directorate, together with the Malatya Museum Directorate and related organizations, studies have been initiated in order to detect damage in the buildings damaged by the earthquake in Malatya and to protect the portable cultural assets.

Harput İçkale Excavations 2023 excavation season continues with cleaning and conservation works.     General Cleaning Works     Aslanlı tower conservation works.   Entrance Gate conservation works.   Conservation work on the steps of the Urartu Cistern (Dungeon).  

Studies were carried out to identify new excavation areas with georadar studies carried out in Harput Citadel.
